Enfants africains

The Romeo Dallaire Foundation was touched to hear the story of an orphanage in the Congo (World Orphanage Kids), which cares for some 200 children. No matter how dedicated and devoted the caregivers are to looking after the children, there is a constant lack of food. Feeding a child in the Congo costs only a few cents a day. The Foundation has sent an initial amount of $3,000 to the organization to help fill the children’s stomachs, and plans to assess the orphanage’s needs in 2014 to determine what it can do to help the people over there.
